Rebecca Lexa, certified Oregon Master Naturalist, will guide you on an easy hike through flat sandy trails that wind along Willapa Bay and through a nice shorepine forest at Leadbetter Point on the northern end of the Long Beach Peninsula. More than 200 different bird species have been spotted here. You can observe numerous waterfowl and shorebirds along the productive salt marsh habitat, while you hear the sounds of songbirds and woodpeckers in the forest.
Insect repellant highly recommended.
