We're on a mission to empower wildlife and humans to thrive. The challenge is to get people moving a distance of 5K (3.1 miles) in nature and to raise funds to support projects to help the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge.

The Friends are a membership driven organization that supports Refuge programs and enhances the awareness and appreciation of the Refuge. Here are a few of our activities:
· Guided Refuge hikes with naturalists.
· Work parties to eliminate invasive plants and to maintain trails.
· Our annual fall birding and wildlife festival, "Wings Over Willapa".
· Environmental education for every 4th-grade student in Pacific County.
