Let’s talk about the biggest fish in the sea and Willapa Bay!  Join the Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge on Friday, May 17 as they host Oregon State University researchers from the Chapple Big Fish Lab that focuses on the study of sharks and other large marine predators. Jessica Schulte and Ethan Personius from the lab will share secrets they are learning about how sharks affect our coastal ecosystems and communities in the Pacific Northwest.

Please join us and learn about sharks at the Salt Hotel, 147 Howerton Ave, Ilwaco. There will be a cash bar; please arrive early if you plan on ordering appetizers or dinner. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the presentation will begin at 6:30. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
