Junior Duck Stamp Program

Now available: 2020 Junior Duck Stamp Calendars, featuring art by local students! Contact us if you’d like to purchase one for $20; proceeds go back into our conservation education efforts.

Do you have kids in kindergarten through twelfth grade? Are they interested in science, nature and art? Get them involved in the Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program!

Since 1989, the Junior Duck Stamp Program has taught thousands of kids about ducks, geese and swans and the wetlands where they live. The Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge want to help local students be a part of this program through free educational materials, in-class presentations by Friends of Willapa volunteers, and a chance to enter the annual Junior Duck Stamp Contest.

Parents, teachers, scout leaders and other community leaders who want to get their kids involved, please get in touch. In-class presentations are available in December, January and early February, and the contest deadline is March 15 each year. We can travel anywhere between South Bend, WA and Seaside, OR. We generally begin contacting teachers early in the school year, but any time is a good time to contact us! Our email address is willapajuniorduckstamps(at)gmail(dot)com
