Do you have kids in kindergarten through twelfth grade? Are they interested in science, nature and art? Get them involved in the Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program!
Since 1998, the Junior Duck Stamp Program has taught thousands of kids about ducks, geese and swans and the wetlands where they live. The Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge want to help local students be a part of this program through free educational materials, in-class presentations by Friends of Willapa volunteers, and a chance to enter the annual Junior Duck Stamp Contest.
Teachers and other community leaders who want to get their kids involved, please get in touch. In-class presentations are available in January and early February, so now’s a great time to get on the schedule.
